What Does Jesus Say?
He challenges those who call him Lord, but don’t do what He says.
“Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven…”
“Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?”
Jesus tells us to pray for and seek God’s will on earth.
“Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
We learn what God’s will is by paying attention to Jesus.
Why would we, as Christians, want to participate in helping God’s will to be done on earth?
Christians are powerful.
Why would we, as Christians, want to compare the results of our votes to Jesus’ words?
Christians believe that Jesus’ words are the words of God.
“I have given to them the words which You have given me.”
Jesus says we benefit from putting God’s words into action.
“… blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”

“He who sees me sees Him who sent me.”
Lawlessness and cruel atrocities are being committed by our government’s leaders in direct contradiction with the specific words of Jesus, yet often “in the name of God” and with the support of Christian influencers.
Why should the Christians who have supported those leaders….?
1) get informed through reliable sources about their actions and impacts, including on children and immigrants;
2) compare government actions to Jesus’ words, and
3) take concrete steps to undo support for leaders who are committing terrible abuses in direct contradiction with Jesus’ words?
Our president, Donald Trump, won this past election thanks to the votes of many Christians.
Those Christians spanned many denominations, with the most votes coming from white evangelical Christians. According to David French, referring to 2024 Exit Polls, without the votes of this latter group, our president would have lost in a 58-to-40 percent landslide.
This Website will help you to:
Compare Jesus’ words, commands, and acts to our president’s words and the actions of this administration;
Access verifiable information about the administration’s actions and their impact on the real people that Jesus loves, including immigrants and children;
Recognize God’s will through Jesus’ words, so that you can do your part in helping it to be “done on earth.”
Dare to answer these essential, personal questions that every Christian who cares about the words of Jesus should face in these challenging times.
This website addresses issues of God and government, a Christian view on politics, and a Biblical response to politics based on Jesus’ own words.
